Panchapatchi Sastra (also written Panchapatchi Sastram or Panchapakshi Shastra) is a Tamil astrology app for daily rasi palan and predictions based on your birth star (nakshatra), from the teachings of Rishabanandhar Swamigal — also spelt Rishabananthar, Rishabanadhar or Rishab.

The five-bird (patchi) system — Vulture, Owl, Crow, Hen and Peacock — maps each day into Jamam time periods so you can find auspicious timings, alongside the Tamil calendar (panchangam): thithi, natchathiram, Raahu Kalam, Yamagandam and more.

This ancient science was revealed thousands of years ago by the sage Kakapujandar (காகபுஜண்டர் — also written Kagapujandar, Kagapujagandar, Kagapuja or Kagam) and is taught and applied today through this app by Rishabanandhar Swamigal.
